Artto energy sphere

lala_saraArtto as a planet has a semi-sentient energy sphere. It means three things:
1) It can and often do suck energy and information from other planets far far away from it. Mostly it means it draws to itself "souls" or "fea" (energy+information without matter) of sentient and semi-sentient beings from other worlds. They are called firstcomers (in distinction from local life and those who were born on Artto). Only one god is a firstcomer - Nabob. There are two sources for firstcomers, especially in mass - Earth (it's called Terra on Artto) and T'Rax. You get humans from different eras and some semi-sentient animals from Terra (animals usually become even more sentient on Artto) and elves with many semi-sentient animals from T'Rax (practically anything mythical with three girdles of limbs instead of terrestrial two). But also you will have occasional alien from wherever. When fea firstcomes on Artto it materializes according its own self-perception. So even feas from Terra and T'Rax can look different from how they looked on their own planets.
2) The local energy comes from the planet, it is highly dispersed and is called "static magic". Mages use it by focusing it through magems (magic gems), potions and magic items. But big mass of people can concentrate it into a magic being. Thus gods were made. Every mass firstcoming from Terra has its own god. T'Raxian firscomers archelves come on their own volition, all T'Raxians came not in mass, and they didn't have the concept of 'a god' before. Though some would exploit or worship gods after arriving. Anyway humans not just have more tendency of making a god but they have more need of using this system (see Insurance).
3) Energy sphere is also controlling local flauna (flora and fauna) through clusters that are called Memory Trees. There was a clash between them and some mass human firstcomers so now Memory Trees became virtually extinct and local flauna became inert.
First Terra forstcomers in mass (they were called Atalantlie or Atalantians) actually came back to Terra. They breached energy sphere in the process at the Isthmus of Intransigence (that wasn't an isthmus then), with catastrophic consequences that not just almost splinted the planet in half and created the anomaly but also birthed the parallel world that is now called Reversed side.
